Robert Stock is Speaker of this network and Assistant Professor for Cultures of Knowledge at the Department of Cultural History and Theory at Humboldt University Berlin. He holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany (2017) and did his studies of European Ethnology at Humboldt University in Berlin and Lisbon (2002-2009). Main research interests are cultures of knowledge, digital media and dis/abilities, the materiality of epistemic practices and Luso-African cultural decolonization processes. From 2015 to 2021, he coordinated the DFG research unit “Media and Participation. Between Demand and Entitlement” at the University of Konstanz.
